National Night Out is a community-police awareness event that has been held annually since 1984. It is intended to spread awareness of community programs like neighborhood watch and substance misuse prevention. In Anne Arundel County, there will be events at the Crofton Library, Earleigh Heights Fire Hall, Lula G. Scott Community Center, Brooklyn Park (10th Avenue Park), and the Annapolis Library.
